Colour Play
The unique colour reflections are achieved by creating minimal distance between the various levels of engraving, which in turn can be only attained by using high-precision tools. Varied levels of engraving create fascinating colour play and the vibrance of the Wellendorff-cold enamel. In the manufactory in Pforzheim, the Wellendorff-cold enamel is applied in multiple layers to each field by hand, under a microscope. Applying several colours that flow harmoniously into each other is much more intensive than applying a single colour per ring.
Wide Range of Colours
When the Wellendorff brothers, Christoph and Georg, entered the company in 1991 and 1993, they set in motion important ideas that opened up the way to what is now a world renowned mark of quality. In 1993, colour entered the collection – with the special Wellendorff-cold enamel that in the future would emphasize the features on the spinning Wellendorff rings and the pendants, earrings and bracelets thereafter.
