The precision of the setting
Setting
We place special attention on setting the diamonds. Wellendorff only uses diamonds of exquisite quality.
Meticulous Craftsmanship
Each individual stone is meticulously hand set by trained jewel setters into its gold bed. By pressing a little gold over the diamonds, the stone is kept securely in place. The gold overlaps the diamonds as little as possible so that as much of its shine as possible can be seen.
Two-prong Setting
Thanks to the two-prong setting, only two pieces of gold hold the stone in place. This means it is possible to fit more diamonds on to the surface when compared with a traditional setting. This is how we achieve more brilliance and shine from the stone.
